Our Mission

We provide our customers with time efficient, one-on-one & group training in the comfort of our facility. Our vision emphasizes a lifestyle change that includes a fitness plan and guidance promoting good health. We are dedicated to helping and encouraging individuals to change their behavior patterns and choose healthier lifestyles.

Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called a spinning bike. A typical class involves a single instructor at the front of the class who leads the participants through routines that are designed to simulate terrain and situations similar to riding a bike outdoors. Some of the movements and positions include hill climbs, sprints, and interval training. Spinning classes are done in a fitness studio, with various light and music settings to create an energized atmosphere. Instructors guide participants through workout phases. Warm-up, steady up tempo cadences, sprints, climbs, cool-downs, etc. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you’ll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face) and a water bottle.

Trainer/Exercise Is Medicine

Specialty- Yoga

Latisha came to yoga through an extra credit assignment in a college physical education class. It was simple, take a yoga class. It was the worst experience she
had encountered at that point. The Baptist girl stood amongst a room of people clad in muslin shawls and loose fitting
pants chanting in who knows what language, they had to be calling the “spirits!” It would be 8 years before she would be re-introduced to yoga
again. This time with a better understanding of what to expect and what she would gain. After completing the class she could not stop smiling. She had to learn more and learn more she did through learning the different styles offered and then trying as many of them as she could find. She taught her very first class at the church she grew up in with her students ranging in age from 14-72. The Women’s group was very pleased as she was able to share the benefits of yoga and make everyone feel comfortable as for most it was their first experience. She takes great care to explain to those that are concerned about the spiritual aspect of yoga and how that is not the focus of the class but to bring greater awareness to both the mind and the body. She very much enjoys guiding those that are new and helping them to track and celebrate progress. She has been teaching in churches for a few years now but, still mixes up her left and right sides. She is very passionate about helping those develop and maintain healthy lifestyle changes. After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2013, Latisha strongly believes that yoga is for every Body. The only thing that she asks is that you be present in your present.

I decided 7 years ago that I was going to start working out and get back into shape.
I remember walking into my first spinning class and only staying on the bike for
ten minutes. I remember feeling defeated. I tried again and the next time I lasted
20minutes. Before I knew it I had completed an entire class. By faith, preservation and
persistence I was able to lose 70lbs and have maintained this for the past several years.
Now I am teaching and the owner of my own studio. I have over 10 years of experience
in the area of fitness and exercise. As a busy mother, professional, coach, motivator and
fitness expert, I truly believe that a lifestyle change has to occur to successfully transition
into a new you. I am very eager to assist any individual with meeting their personal goals.
I have a BA in Communications, Masters in Public Administration and I currently hold
certifications in AFAA Cycle , ASFA Group Fitness,  ASFA Personal Trainer and  CPR /First AID & AED.
